What we collect
- Account data: email, password (hashed), date of birth, chosen interests.
- Activity: experiences started/completed, survey responses, wallet transactions, referrals.
- Device data: browser type, IP, coarse timing signals used for fraud protection.
- Payout data: only what's required to send you money (e.g. PayPal handle, W-9 details if applicable).
How we use it
- Operate the service, credit rewards, and process payouts.
- Prevent fraud and enforce these terms.
- Send transactional emails (welcome, digests you opted into, cash-out updates).
- Aggregate anonymized analytics shared with brands (never your personal identifiers).
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Optional analytics/marketing cookies are only set with your consent — manage them via the cookie banner or by clearing preferences in your browser.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
- Access & export: Download all your Plaiyd data as JSON from Profile → Data & privacy.
- Deletion: Delete your account and associated data from Profile → Data & privacy.
- Correction & objection: Contact privacy@plaiyd.app.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. On deletion, we remove personal identifiers within 30 days, retaining only what's required by law (e.g. tax records).
